Although the number of best times
makes this an average meet for the Marlins, Jeff and I were happy
to see some solid performances from our swimmers. The ones who
didn't improve their events were very close, particularly event
that were raced 2 to 3 weeks earlier.
Worth noting is the 2 team
records that Alicia Vogelaar broke in the 400 IM for the 11-12 age
group and James Beard's 100 fly in the 9-10 age group. Both of
these record dated back from 2002 and 1999 respectively ... it was
about time! Oh and by the way ... this was James' first 100 fly
ever!
