WHERE: At the Rafael
Racquet
Club.
WHEN:
Saturday, June 26th. Warm-up will start at 8:00 a.m.;
meet will start at 8:45 a.m. and should be over around 1:00
pm
WHO:
Marlins,
Tiburon.
WHY:
This meet was created with the intention of offering the swimmers
ways to get together and have fun. The meet is designed to be
inclusive of all swimmer
level.
WHAT:
Please look at the list of events offered for your child by
clicking on "Attend this Event" then clicking on your child’s
name and select the "Sign-up Record" as
yes.
HOW:
Please sign-up your children on the Marlins website. You can also
e-mail me your kid(s) choices of entries
at detraz@comcast.net,
or call me at 456-1153. All entries are due by Wednesday, June 23rd
at the latest. The cost is $5.00 per swimmers and
will be billed to you. Don’t forget to sign-up for a
volunteer job
yourself!
RULES:
Seeding will not be changed because of “no-shows". Swimmers
with no times (NT) will be considered slowest swimmer. Maximum of 3 individual events. Relays will be assigned by
the
coach.
AWARDS: The top 5 swimmers in each
event per age group (6&under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12) will receive
ribbons. No ribbons for relays and 13 and over
swimmers.

VOLUNTEER:
Parents are
expected to help run the meet. At the same time you sign-up your
child for the meet, you must sign yourself up, your spouse or an
accompanying adult for one of the jobs listed on the job sign-up
sheet. While staffing the meet, we will expect
families with more then one year on the team to be taking the lead,
while families who attend a meet for the first time may be
excused. Note: If you are planning on
timing, do not wear water sensitive
shoes!
